Pakistanis are so done with the politicians and their frivolous lifestyles that even the mention of a politician being rich boils people’s blood. However the current Prime Minister of Pakistan, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi’s recent display of humility has won people over.
A few days ago, now ex-Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif celebrated his birthday like a boss
He got a 1000 pound cake with an edible Lion on top in a roaring display of extravagance.
His daughter Maryam Nawaz took to Twitter to give the public a glimpse into the whole birthday bash.
That extravagance didn’t sit well with Pakistanis at all who were angry at that much money being spent on that big of a cake

Shahid Khaqan Abbasi was sworn in as the country’s Prime Minister after Nawaz Sharif was disqualified following the Panama scandal.
People were impressed by our PM’s simplicity and wished him well
Some compared it with Nawaz Sharif’s grand ceremony that took place two days earlier
