Did the National Assembly really need a Pakistani flag made of balloons?
Things have been quite tumultuous for Pakistan in the last few days with news channel reporting grave news. So there’s definitely need for some positive news. Which is why the Government might have shared about a huge Pakistani flag made entirely of balloons which was hung in the parliament by the Hindu community, just to lighten the mood. However things have backfired real bad.
This Pakistani flag made of balloons has become a subject of lots of controversy for all the wrong reasons

Not everyone thought that the flag made of balloons was as cute as it was intended to be. People didn’t get the point.

Considering the news that plastics were being banned in the country capital Islamabad where the National Assembly is lots of people were pissed off at these balloons being used to make an extravagant flag
Is that supposed to be a huge accomplishment?

Other people wondered about what happened to the plastic ban.
Austerity and Plastic ban?

Some thought it was a useless gesture given the state of the economy and generally times of austerity that we are supposed to be excerizing
Who in the world needed this pointless expenditure? Can we please stop equating patriotism with ridiculous, utterly useless and cheap displays?! The only thing this balloon flag proves is that all those who commissioned it havent done any meaningful work to merit acclaim.

Honestly, when people are constantly asking about the government to issue official statements and condemn what is happening in Kashmir, fluff news like this does nothing but anger people. But this does not mean the gesture by the Hindu community is not sweet. Yes, it may be a little ill-timed but it is still appreciable. Right?
According to Month of August 🇵🇰, This is Great👍! but for these days attention should be on #Kashmir and #kasmirbleeds
Now @ImranKhanPTI This is Right time to Address to Nation of Pakistan and Tell truth about #Kashmir (with your Emaan as in Riyasat e Madina)#TruthAboutKashmir— Shakaib Raza (@ShakaibRajput) August 6, 2019
Are you kidding us with these tweets? This isn't distracting this is infuriating. A clear demonstration that this incompetent and cowardly government simply has no plans that you can announce on this handle.
