People are calling Priyanka Chopra a ‘hypocrite’.
Yesterday, the Indian Air Force entered Pakistani airspace in the early hours of the morning. Since then, Indian celebrities have been boarding the war train and tweeting in support of their air force, supporting the air space violation.
There were some shocking tweets that came out through the night. One of the most shocking was Ranveer Singh’s.

Among this list of shocking tweets was Priyanka Chopra’s short message.
Jai Hind #IndianArmedForces 🇮🇳 🙏🏽

In an instance, people on Twitter called out the actress for her tweet, especially considering her status as a goodwill ambassador for UNICEF.
WHAT?!!! But aren’t you supposed to be a Good Will ambassador for @UNICEF? Screen shot this everyone and next time she speaks up for peace and goodwill. Let’s remind her of this hypocrisy. https://t.co/Jew88bMtYv

People were not impressed by her tweet.
there's really nothing quite like a rich unicef goodwill ambassador cheering for war https://t.co/P2B0RZR5HW

Genuinely, ‘for crying out loud’!
You are a UNICEF Global Goodwill Ambassador, man. For crying out loud. https://t.co/cPSbGFcfb5

The word ‘trash’ was used too!
This woman is associated with UNICEF and look at her advocating for war. Trash. https://t.co/iMTdZlA3cB

People were asking UNICEF to reevaluate their ambassador choices.
Is this your ambassador? This war mongering piece of shit ? @UNICEF https://t.co/xCV4XJseyJ
— Sherry (@CherieDamour_) February 26, 2019
Hey @UNICEF is this what your 'Goodwill Ambassadors' do?
Cheer for war?

For a UNICEF ambassador you should be pitching for peace instead of joining war mongering rhetoric. You also hailed KPS Gill. God knows how @unicef hired a bimbo like you https://t.co/MOHO9t42C4

People asked how someone who’s been to refugee camps in Syria and Burma can advocate war.
Hey @UNICEF the person you chose to spread goodwill amongst Syrian and Rohingya refugees is supporting war. Think she just wants more refugees to meet, or what? @UNICEFmedia #SayNoToWar https://t.co/3suT8qgaPp

Lanat was sent, too.
I have many words to say but I think my these three words are enough for this ambassador **LAKH DI LANAT 🖐🖐**
— Syed Hasham Darya (@naqishah10) February 27, 2019
Some poked fun at her and brought in her wedding to the mix.
Hey, UNICEF goodwill ambassador. You're better off plannning your wedding receptions than being a warmonger. https://t.co/x9nrT3t9oB
— Iyeronical (@LosingMotion) February 27, 2019
Some people, however, did not see the hypocrisy in her statement.
UNICEF is for children and here she is cheering the killing of terrorists not asking for a war and all she tweeted is Jai Hind.. how is that advocating for war? An Indian can tweet Jai Hind every day what is sooo provoking about it? https://t.co/WCqRzyjfIb
— Prachi Das🇮🇳 (@PrachiNotDesai) February 27, 2019
Proud of you! She is praising her Country and what's wrong in that?? India is a peaceful Country. If you will mess with our peace than face the consequences. India did this for peace! UNICEF is right for choosing Priyanka as her goodwill ambassador!Buzz off hater's! Jai Hind!
— Amrita (@kauramy9) February 27, 2019
And others responded to people who called out Priyanka.
You want her to tweet Pakistan zindabad? Sit down bitch.
— hans (@BoldToch) February 27, 2019
Is this a case of patriotism or warmongering? Let us know what you think.
Again, we reiterate that peace is the FIRST priority ALWAYS. May sense, and peace prevail over Pakistan and India.
