Amitabh Bachchan or Big B as he is popularly referred to is undeniably the “father” of Indian cinema. He’s also pretty popular on Twitter and in fact one of the most followed Indian celebrities in India on Twitter.
In fact, Amitabh uses his Twitter account to its max ability and people are really entertained by it
Whether it’s to shame colleagues in the film fraternity for not replying to his texts

Amitabh Bachchan’s Twitter is basically a goldmine for all things entertaining.
However, recently he’s been making headlines because he got hacked and turned into Imran Khan by Turkish hackers
The hackers definitely weren’t ones for subtlety and made their intrusion pretty obvious, right away
The started off by replacing Amitabh Bachchan’s profile picture with that of Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan. The hackers also decided to make some changes to Amitabh Bachchan’s bio and edited it to say: Actor … well at least some are STILL saying so !! Love Pakistan”.
The hackers then got on to tweeting a bunch of stuff from Big B’s account
They started off by asking for “support” and sharing an Instagram link which seems to direct to a profile belonging to the hackers.
The hackers also went on to slam India in another tweet which read: “The Indian State, who mercilessly attacks the Muslims fasting in the month of Ramadan, is attacking the Ummah Muhammad in this age! Indian Muslims are entrusted to us by Abdulhamid.”
In another tweet, the hackers revealed their identity as the “Ayyldz Tim Turkish Cyber Armny”
“This is an important call to the whole world! We do condemn the irrespective behaviours of Iceland republic towards Turkish footballers. We speak softly but carry a big stick and inform you about the big Cyber attack here. As Ayyldz Tim Turkish Cyber Armny +++””.
The most recent tweets by the hackers included an image of PM Imran Khan with the caption “Love Pakistan”.
These pro-Pakistani tweets from Amitabh Bachchan’s accounts are even more ironic considering he recently rejected a role simply because he would have had to portray a Pakistani man.
People already figured Big B had been hacked when there was no sign of his signature style

Even though Turkish hackers very clearly took credit for this, we all love to think Major Adnan Sami is responsible for all such developments.

Tbh, I think the entire thing is so laughably ironic, especially considering how strong Big-B’s anti-Pakistan rhetoric is. However, the Mumbai police are taking the cyber attack very seriously and are said to have informed their cyber unit and Maharashtra Cyber to further look into the issue. Yikes.
