The seventh installment of the biggest cricketing event of the year started with a bang. Pakistan Super League is the most awaited event for cricket crazy Pakistani’s and if the opening ceremony of this year’s tournament is anything to go by then we’re all in for an entertainment-packed cricketing extravaganza.

A performance to remember by vocal powerhouses Atif Aslam & Aima Baig

The duo performed the official PSL 7 anthem “Agay Dekh” to entertain the audience to the fullest. The dynamic duo was sporting amazing custom attires and was able to get the crowd dancing to the tune.

The grand entry of Red Bull athletes.

The ceremony included a three-minute act performed by three Austrian skydivers who are Red Bull athletes, namely Florian Greger, Paul Steiner, and Stefan Muller who parachuted their way from about 5000 feet in the air into National Stadium Karachi. The stunt was the most eye-catching display of aerial antics at the opening ceremony which concluded with the skydivers handing over the match ball to the umpires to mark the start of the opening match

The crazy firework display!

We absolutely loved the pyrotechnics that was on view at the opening ceremony. The vibrant display of fireworks was a treat for the eyes with the plethora of colors that added to the overall grandness of the proceedings.
