By now, we’ve all discussed Priyanka’s Met Gala look at least a hundred times. Sitting in the comfort of our homes, we all let out our inner critics and threw shade at her, left right and center, despite having zero knowledge about fashion or the theme.
However, I don’t really get why we had to look across the border when it comes to talking about fashion, since we have our very own fashion icon, model, singer, dancer, actor and essentially a Jack of all trades, Nouman Khan, serving looks right at home.
For those who may not know who Nouman Khan is, firstly – I’m so sorry that you’re missing out.

…or inviting himself to Rakhi Sawant’s wedding…
…he’s busy being, as his self-proclaimed title suggests, a legend.
An entertainer through and through, homeboy decided to show off his skills by doing a quick photo shoot of his Met Gala looks. And I don’t know about y’all, but I’m a little mind blown.
The jacket. The fabric that looks like a towel but is probably just me misinterpreting high-end fashion. The glasses. The shawl. It’s all just a huge bundle of perfection. And Nouman knows it too. You can tell that just by how confident he is.
“Filmstar Fashion Diva Apka Apna Nouman Khan “THE LEGEND” Wearing GUCCI At Met Gala,” proclaims Nouman in his caption, and I draw my breath in, knowing I could never compete.
“Mention That Person Who Will Beat Me In Beauty & Fashion,” his caption continues, and I know damn well I will never be able to think of a name that could match up.
That grace. That panache.
The magnanimity of his look, put forth ever so simply.

The fashion icon we need, but don’t deserve. I just want to talk to whoever forgot to invite him to the actual Met Gala.
Honestly, though – hats off to Nouman for his undeterred confidence and his ability to always come out stronger in the face of the trolling faced by him. We have a tendency to denounce entertainers, even if we live on their Facebook pages, tagging our friends in their videos. Won’t hurt to appreciate them for a change, since they do what they’ve set out to – entertain – even in the face of relentless bullying with admirable confidence.
