Whenever you hear the term ‘shaadi’ , things like over the top dresses, dances, and most importantly food pop in your brain. These festivities are an important aspect of shaadis in Pakistan. However, behind all the smoke and mirrors, marriage is essentially a contract of companionship between to living beings.

You could say the nikkah contract is the most important aspect of a shaadi and it’s presentation is something that not many people think about.

 

However, one person took it upon himself to design an absolutely stunning Islamic marriage contract.

Umar Shahzad, a designer by profession, initially made this as a wedding gift to his sister.

“Islamic marriage contracts aren’t usually well designed. As a graphic designer, I couldn’t let my sister sign one that was poorly typed up in Word and printed on a plain white paper… so I put this together as a gift. I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out” his Facebook post read.

It just goes to show that a little creativity goes a long way and finding beauty in the most unknown places is an extremely admirable thing.
