So, recently an Indian mountaineering team claimed that footprints of the ‘Yeti’ were spotted in the snow. Yeti is an ancient mythical creature and is also known as ‘Glacier being’.

The Indian army had announced finding the Yeti has a huge claim

They had broken this news via their official Twitter account and said that footprints of the Yeti in the snow, measuring 32×15 inches were spotted close to an isolated area between Nepal and Tibet.

The government of Nepal has now officially dismissed the claims by the Indian army and have clarified that these are the footprints of a wild bear

Nepal’s Army spokesperson stated that “A team of Indian Army had noticed the footprints and our liaison team was together with them. We tried to ascertain the fact, but locals and porters claimed that it is the footprints of a wild bear that frequently appear in that area.”

Even before the rejection of the claims by the Government of Nepal, the Indian army was trolled by everyone on the social media

People trolled that the Indian Navy would announce the discovery of the loch-ness monster in the sea

Indians themselves stated that such claims by Indian army have deeply embarrassed the nation
