These People Are Not Happy With Mobilink And Warid's Shaadi And They're Not Afraid To Say It

By Malaika Tahir | 31 Dec, 2016

Two of the leading phone companies of Pakistan, Mobilink and Warid fell in love a while back and decided to tie the knot around November 2015. It wasn’t easy on their customers, however. You all must be familiar with how love marriages go here in Pakistan. There are many rukaawattain, so many kaante along the path. But after successfully passing through all the struggles and hurdles, Warid and Mobilink’s parents finally got convinced and as 2016 is about to sigh its last breath; it finally happened.

In December, both companies achieved a crucial milestone after the Islamabad High Court approved the amalgamation of the two companies to create the country’s biggest telecom operation. As the merger is still in process, this shaadi is causing a major fluctuation in signals.

People are reporting that they signals either are lessened to a single bar, or disappear altogether:

Some even say that the Warid symbol on their phones alters between Warid and Mobilink

Na karo Warid

Oh the misery

Inho ne tu janaaza hi parh dia

People are complaining that the signals mostly disappear at night

Kyun Waird…kyun?

Wajah sirf yahi hai

Timings bohat khraab hain

But some people didn’t even realize their signals were gone..

This is what Mrs. Mobilink Warid had to say about this matter, officially

How’s your experience with Mobilink and Warid, after their marriage, going?
