Meet Mithu, aka the cutest new addition to the ‘Suno Chanda’ family.
He’s Pari’s son (Nazakat’s former flame and Shahana’s sister). While at first, I found him a wee bit annoying, I quickly realized, coming into the third episode that Mithu is, in fact, the sweetest, most masoom character I’ve ever come across.
He’s his mother’s ladla, and is always at her beck and call.
In last night’s episode, I found him so endearing, it was a vivid moment of clarity for me.
He was trying to fire up a sheesha for his mother when DJ (I honestly despise him for his ruthlessness) persuaded him to do fire it up inside. Mithu, being the gullible goofball that he is, blindly trusted DJ and waddled off into a bedroom to resume his sheesha duty- and a few minutes later the bedroom almost caught on fire.
When Pari found out, she started beating Mithu until Bi Jaan stepped in (my poor baby Mithu, he had no idea what he was doing)!
UGH HATE DJ
A few hours later, Mithu was seen minding his own business when DJ (once again up to no good, the sneaky twat) fake-apologized to him and then convinced Mithu to wear his I.D. card around his neck so no one arrests him.
Sigh. Mithu realized this was another prank, and became so achingly despondent, it broke my heart.
I now love Mithu.
You know how you never realize something so precious that’s been in front of you all along? Well, that’s Mithu. He’s been there all along for three episodes.
