Miss Pakistan Anzhelikha Tahir came to our attention earlier this year when she won the title and began her journey of winning hearts everywhere and representing Pakistan in pageants around the world.
She has already blown us all away by her sheer beauty
And the abundance of brains to go along, too
The lady who lived in Kiev, Ukraine during her formative years has experienced life as an outsider where she said in a previous interview that she always felt different because she was not white skinned. Once she grew up, she made sure she will travel around the world and acquaint people with her culture.
She’s an environmentalist
And a big advocate for children’s education
While at the Miss Earth pageant in the Philippines, Anzhelika visited schools and taught children about being green and environmentally conscious.
She’s also a HUGE fan of Biryani
Well, she told us.
And she’s starring in an upcoming Pakistani movie
The movie ‘Na Band, Na Barati‘ also stars Mikaal Zulfiqar and Ali Kazmi alongside some industry veterans.
Anzhelika is currently in the Philippines to represent Pakistan in the Miss Earth pageant
She’s also one of the favorites in pre-show competitions, having won the Gold medal in Talent competition rounds for her group
This is Anzhelika performing as part of Talent Competition:
She’s all set to compete in the finals of Miss Earth to be held in Pasay City, Philippines on October 29
While talking to MangoBaaz about her experience at the competition where 84 women from around the world are participating, Anzhelika says this pageant is a model for the whole world to follow.
“Miss Earth is a huge pageant with 84 countries. It is great to see 84 countries in one small place surviving and getting along with each other. Miss Earth is a better example of what the world is today as we have Miss Israel, Miss Palestine along with Miss Pakistan and Miss India. If we all can get along here with each other then we should set an example to the whole world to prove that peace is more important than war.”
She further adds, “I’m here to represent my country and I’ll do my best for Pakistan. All I ask is for people to support me and pray for my success and Pakistan’s success”.
We’re definitely rooting for you, Anzhelika!
