Guys, we’ve said it before and we’ll say it again. Being a celebrity is hard! Scratch that, being a female celebrity is extremely hard in Pakistan.
Not only do people only see the glamour and glitz, but they think it is their birth right to make lewd and disgusting comments on everything that a celebrity does – even if it is taking a picture with a damn ice cream! Our latest victim in question is Mawra Hocane.
Mawra is one of the most popular actresses right now.
She has one heck of a portfolio, not only acting-wise but also in her educational endeavors – But who cares about that right?
Mawra posted a photograph of herself on her official Instagram page, with captions that showed that it was probably a behind-the-scenes shot for an advertisement that she might be shooting.

Pretty cute, right? Nothing “vulgar” or “obscene” to see here? Well, Pakistanis didn’t see it that way. The picture was picked up by a popular Pakistani drama discussion page on Facebook and this is when everyone got a license to pass the kind of remarks which make your blood boil.
For instance, there were these guys making extremely obscene comments.

If they weren’t making dick jokes, people were busy body shaming the poor gal.
Seriously people! How vile are you?
And when the “jokes” were over, people passed their time by saying extremely random crap that just didn’t make sense, to begin with.Â

What even…? Does this even mean anything?
There were comments on her acting skills too…
People, seriously! Get a damn life will ya?
Tsk tsk tsk. After reading these comments on a harmless, fun and bubbly photo by the celeb, one can only feel sorry for the mindset that currently exists in some parts of our country, especially since it gets a platform through the anonymity the internet offers.
