#ManRaazi Is The New, Star-Studded Wedding And Here's Everything We Know About It

By Aam Nawab | 9 Nov, 2019

Pakistani weddings are no joke. As the years have gone by, we’ve seen the humble shaadi grow into a social media trend. From the over the top international wedding of a few years ago to the crazy star-studded wedding this past weekend, we’ve sort of seen it all!

I began noticing the #ManRaazi wedding a few days ago.

I shrugged it off as one of those shaadis that comes up every now and then. Sadly, for me and a lot of you Instagram users, this was not the case. Over this past weekend, the wedding truly erupted on the scene, with pictures being shared everywhere and not to mention the entire film fraternity was in attendance.

Also, just in case you’re curious, the hashtag is a combination of the couples’ names; Faraaz and Eman.

The bride, Eman Khan, is a popular Instagram influencer and has appeared in quite a few Instagram shoots for brands.

#ManRaazi came on the scene with the bride’s mayun celebrations.

Needless to say that the decor for this was pretty phenomenal.

This was soon followed by Eman’s bridal shower!

One of her bridesmaids was… drum roll, please… Momina Mustehsan.

Momina cannot get her eyes off the blushing bride to be. Cute!

Now that all the groundwork for the shaadi was complete, it was time for the main festivities.

Strap in folks. This is where stuff gets intense.

Let’s begin with the mehndi!

The mehndi was truly abuzz with celebrities. Hareem Farooq was there.

The celebrity couple, Urwa and Farhan, also attended to bless the couple with marital bliss.

Recently honey-mooned couple, Naimal and Hamza were there too. Here they can be seen chatting up bridesmaid, Momina Mustehsan.

Humaima Malick attended the wedding too.

Her post (which has now been removed) sparked a lot of conversation about her own relationship status.

Fashion designer, Ali Xeeshan, and Maula Jutt director, Ammara Hikmat were also in atten(dance).

What follows a mehndi? You guessed it! Rukhsati.

The couple had their game face on when it came to their big day. Both the bride and the groom looked absolutely perfect.

Not sure if you can notice, but there were quite a few chandeliers involved.

Of course, no mention of this shaadi is complete without the bridesmaid. Here she is seen with none other than Uzair Jaswal.

The ‘celebrity’ status of this function seems to dip, so we’ll skip the details and go to the surprise function in the middle – the ‘sangeet’.

Bridesmaid Momina Mustehsan was seen with her bestie, Aima Baig.

Isn’t it a little too early for velvet, ladies?

While Bilal Lashari pulled the classic ‘boy at shaadi’ look.

Mazaak hai, promise.

For some unknown reason, Urwa and Farhan made a rather lackluster reappearance.

Talk about feeling under-dressed.

Finally, the wedding ended with the valima.

And in true bridesmaid fashion, Momina Mustehsan made everything about herself.

Third wheel ho tou aisi.

Another shaadi season, and another crazy Pakistani wedding. Let’s see what else this upcoming winter has in store for us.
