We all hear different stories about what life for women in Pakistan is like. Mostly the narrative which comes forward is that a woman in Pakistani society is greatly respected. We tend to ignore the negative aspects and push them under the rug.
There is no such thing as discrimination, lack of opportunities, and the fettering by tradition of a woman in the Pakistani society… or so we like to believe

I've been told by some elders in my fam not to do my chores because 'larkiyan hai na!'. Aur yae road wala case, I see it everyday as I drive to college. Whether it's a 10 yrs old kid or an 70 yrs old buzurg, feels like they consider it their duty to stare at every passing woman
