Kangana Ranaut isn’t the type of person to shy away from doing and saying as she pleases. She speaks her mind openly and does projects and films that suit her. This hasn’t helped her with her relationship with her fellow actors and directors, but really, she can’t give a damn.
Most recently, she called out the entire film fraternity for boycotting her latest film, ‘Mankarnika’.
She had also called up Alia Bhatt and told her to ‘grow some balls’- yup, that’s Kangana for you.

One would think that this was the extent of her Kangana-ness, but you would be oh so wrong.
In a statement today, Kangana announced that she’s going to be making, and directing a biopic. About who, you ask? Kangana’s upcoming biopic is about the life and struggles of Kangana herself. In her official statement on the matter, she had this to say, “It is not a propaganda film with characters who are starkly black and white, rather it is a sincere, heartfelt account of my journey so far with plenty of lighter moments.”

Kangana was also asked if she’d be tackling the many controversies that she’s been a part of in the film.
This is referring to her relationship with Hrithik Roshan and the instant where she called Karan Johar the ‘flagbearer of nepotism’. Kangana responded that she would not be taking any names in the movie, but these stories will definitely play out. For her, this biopic is not about demeaning others, but rather to tell her story of entering the industry and making her place in it.

People had mixed reactions to this. Some were pretty put off.

She was called ‘self-centered’.

There were others who were actually impressed by her move.

Casting concerns were raised too.
Waisay, who will play Kangana?

But there was just a lot of love for Kangana!

Of course, if she’s going to make a movie, it’s bound to upset someone.
