Iqra Aziz and Yasir Hussain have been causing quite a stir in the gossip circles of Pakistan. Some people are taking the actors’ recent Instagram activity as confirmation of their relationship while others are still waiting on an all-out announcement.
Iqra Aziz recently sat down with Fifi Haroon and of course, had to face questions about her relationship with Yasir.
As most celebrities do, Iqra tackled this question very carefully and planned her answer well. She said that Yasir and her are very good friends. Iqra revealed that she often still feels like an outsider in the industry and doesn’t have too many friends within it, however, she does count Yasir in the small list of people she’s close to.
Speaking about her mental health, Iqra admitted that she is often her last priority. Her aim every day is to make everyone happy and often cries at the end of the day when she realizes that she couldn’t do that. This constant routine of hers made her depressed, and thus she let in a lot of negativity in her life. This is where Yasir comes in, in a big way.
According to Iqra, Yasir brought in a lot of positivity in her life.
She said in her interview, that Yasir taught her how to enjoy her life to the fullest and has helped her fight her depression. She also said she doesn’t like change, but Yasir is pushing her to try new things and get out of her comfort zone. In a rather cute revelation, Iqra said that Yasir is making her switch from chicken to beef, because ‘chicken se sab ko bohat bemaariyan ho rahi hai.’

Iqra and Fifi had a discussion about Noori from ‘Ranjha Ranjha Kardi’ and how her character is very real- she’s not ‘black and white’ like a lot of characters in Pakistani dramas. This is one of the reasons, according to Iqra, why she liked this character a lot. However, she also admitted that since she’s still so young, she’s still growing and she’s growing with her characters- which is why the type of characters she’ll do will keep changing.
In reference to the hate she got for her beach vacay photos a while ago, Iqra responded to the ‘scandal’ in a very mature way. She said that people cannot accept a girl who is comfortable with herself to the point of posting such pictures because they cannot do that themselves, mostly because of society. If they can’t do it, then why should anyone else be allowed to do this.
