The controversial scrapping of Article 370 has sent the world into a catastrophic blitz. While a large chunk of Indians supports the revoking, the coerced ‘colonization’ of Indian-administered Kashmir has been condemned by many. Bollywood siblings Huma Qureshi and Saqib Saleem are the scarce Indian celebrities who have been fairly vocal against the removal of the country’s special status.

Every1 with opinions on #Kashmir.I humbly say this-you have no idea of the life, bloodshed & loss of Kashmiris(Pandits&Muslims)
Pls refrain from irresponsible commentary. There are people – women, children, old&sick people.Put urself in their shoes at this very moment & be sensitive— Huma Qureshi (@humasqureshi) August 7, 2019
However, the actors have been subjected to abuse, threats and hapless trolling by Indians.

Ofcourse u are fine where u are.Enjoying all the benefits and having a great life.Had you been one of the Kashmiri youth, then perhaps u would have understood what they have been going through. If u are a true Indian then stand for India and don't speak language of a Pakistani.

Says a girl shot in the head in a muslim country. Seeks asylum in the UK and talks nonsense about how great Pakistan is, kashmir issue etc. What a hypocrite. Malala is a little opportunist. She has NO business talking about India or Kashmir.

We condemn such harsh responses to two individuals who have expressed support for Kashmir. To castigate someone for freedom of speech is intolerable.
