Hira Mani And Her Being Emotionally Correct: Why Do Cybercitizens Think She Needs Help

By Shanzeh Jalali | 27 Jul, 2022

Hira Mani is a known face in the Pakistan television industry, but why are netizens comparing her to Kangana Ranaut?

Hira and her delirious history with controversial comments have been a titanic ride for everyone following her on social media.

An altercation of words from time to time, no one wants to listen to what she has to say. Her views on women and what women are bound to do are on a fine line of being cooperated into misogyny. As always Hira Mani did not hold back what she had to say about the Dua Zehra case.

For those of you who do not know, Dua Zehra is a girl from Karachi who was said to be kidnapped. Her parents registered a case where they pleaded for the authorities to find their girl. After a wave of hype was created, considering everything that could happen to a young girl living in Pakistan, a video was released. The video was Zehra telling the world she is not kidnapped and is now married. As she is still a minor, no one surely knows if the video is true or not. Iqrar Ul Haq has spoken about this multiple times saying Dua Zehra is actually kidnapped and is being hostage. If it was not for her parents letting everyone know who she is, she would have been sold to men by now.

This is where Hira Mani and her ‘emotionally’ correct thought comes into play.

Hira Mani has 6.9 M followers on Instagram, she posted a story praying for Dua to be with her ‘lover’ forever. Netizens were clearly not amused. Safe to say that this isn’t the first time something like this has happened.

This is what netizens had to say about her statement

In May, Mani said that husbands who taunt their wives and compare their wives to other people are doing women well. This statement caused a lot of havoc because Hira Mani lives in Pakistan. There are women being ruthlessly murdered for not cooking right, and they do not deserve any more taunts from their husbands to be ‘thin’ or in general.
