Okay, folks. It’s Sagittarius month. Now, while Sags are free spirits, and they’re not always everyone’s cup of tea. In fact, think of them as a cup of black coffee. Not everyone can handle them, but the ones who can, can’t go a day without them. Let’s dive deeper into what they’re really like.
They can be all over the place
If you’re lucky enough to have a Sagittarius friend, you probably know how unpredictable they are. Chances are, you remember them as the annoying know-it-all who had a tendency to correct the spelling mistakes the teacher made on the board – in front of the whole class.
If you’ve ever made plans with them, you definitely know to expect them to show up either three hours early, or three hours late; either looking like a supermodel, or a hobo. Hell, they may not even show up at all – they probably got distracted by something on their way over and ended up going on a crazy solo adventure that they’ll tell you about when they randomly call you at 2 am for a three hour phone call!
Sagittarius is a fire sign – and like fire, it can nurture human life… or be a force of destruction.
They are usually the most determined and bold people in a group. Competitive, ambitious and brave, they love to motivate others to be better, and define goals for themselves. They are usually optimistic – but never naive.
However, the good-natured Sag also has a dark side. They hate being questioned, and can’t stand not being the best at something. Be careful if you plan on going head to head with them: the symbol says it all. Sagittarians are represented by the archer, and if they aim for you: they won’t miss.
They’re pretty great with people…most of the time
Most Sagittarius folks are naturally extroverted and loud. They tend to have a good sense of humor, and know how to please a crowd. People are drawn to their open-mindedness, and love them for their energy and honesty, but may also dislike them for these very reasons. Sagittarians have a tendency to think they’re always right, and a desire to always lead. If they meet another strong-headed individual, this quality of theirs almost always leads to arguments.
A Sagittarius is a friend for life, and the most loyal one you’ll ever have.
If you know someone who’s a Sagittarius, you’ve probably had to apologize for their behavior or defend them in front of other people for something they said. This isn’t because they were necessarily wrong, but because sometimes, they speak before thinking. You don’t mind doing it though because anyone who knows them is aware that they mean well, and they’d always do the same for you.
Ruled by Jupiter, the largest planet in the solar system, it’s no surprise that Sagittarius is the most extra sign.
They love being the center of attention even more than a Leo does! Jupiter is a planet that represents tolerance and openness. Sagittarians tend to be philosophical and deep thinkers. They love to believe that they have a higher purpose in life, and want to help other people find purpose too. Generous and sometimes over-indulgent, they love to give- much more than they love to receive.
A fiery romance
If you have a crush on a Sagittarius, you’re probably too scared to even talk to them. It makes sense – they seem really cool and experienced, and they’re always with someone else or on the go. You can never find a moment alone with them! Well, that won’t get you anywhere. If you want to win over a Sag, you need to be just as bold and daring as they are.
A thirst for adventure
A Sagittarius is happy go-lucky, and you need to match their energy and mood. They value their independence and freedom, so don’t be too controlling. Lastly, they love adventure- and they need the right partner for their journey. The best way to win over a Sagittarius is to introduce them to something new – a part of the city they’ve never seen before, food they’ve never tasted before, or a point of view they’ve never considered before. They tend to lose interest quickly, so as long as they feel excited by your presence, you’ve got them in the palm of your hand.
Meeting their match
The best possible match for a Sagittarius is a fellow fire sign – an Aries. However, tensions can arise between the two because of how similarly stubborn they are. A Sagittarius may also find a good balance with a Libra. Both signs have similar temperaments because they love socializing and enjoy luxury – but they may face commitment issues with each other.
Personally, I believe anyone can win over a Sagittarius as long as you are willing to give into their whims, and ready to do everything at their pace. Sagittarians in general can easily be swept up, and in worst cases, tend to be unfaithful. This is because they hate feeling trapped. Sagittarians need to learn the value of stability and communication, because they tend to overlook it in the pursuit of fun.
To sum it all up: Sags, you guys are some of the funniest people I know. You know how to have a good time, and help other people come out of their shell. You never give up, and uplift others with your positive attitude. However, try not to let your impulsive behavior ruin your hard work, and learn that sensitivity is always a better approach than aggression!
And if you’re a Sagittarius , I’m sure you’re itching to fight me on everything I’ve said in the comments below. Go ahead, let us know what you think!
