The Lux Style Awards, commonly known as the LSAs, took place early July this year. The star-studded event had all of us glued to our Instagram feeds and social media as it wasn’t being broadcast on TV. This Saturday, the LSAs will make a comeback as the award show will be broadcast on TV.

Now, in order to get into the right mood for the show, it is absolutely necessary that we go over some of the most exciting things that happened, you know, just to create the right atmosphere!

So, here’s your total run down off all the most innovative and exciting things that happened at this year’s LSAs:

1. The show was truly ‘star-studded’ as industry icons performed, and owned the stage!

Stars like Asad Siddiqui, Meera, Atif Aslam, Fahad Mustafa, among many others, took the stage and put the stage on FIRE!

2. Saba Qamar and Maya Ali gave a tribute to Madam Shabnam.

The legend herself, Shabnam, was in attendance at the LSAs. The Lux girls, Saba and Maya, gave a beautiful tribute to her!

3. Mehwish Hayat and Zara Noor Abbas opened up about women empowerment in the industry!

Both these actresses have had quite a year in the entertainment industry, from Mehwish’s ‘Tamgha E Imtiaz’ to Zara’s making it big on the silver screen. It makes sense that these actors hold the torch for women empowerment, especially in the industry.

4. In fact, Fahad Mustafa dedicated the entire night to the hardworking women of the entertainment industry. 

5. There was a FREAKING Glam Cam

The LSAs featured a ‘glam cam’ on the red carpet. This was basically a super slow-mo camera that caught all the mega-celebrities posing for the camera. This neat new tech addition definitely added to the glamorous effect of the event.

6. This year’s LSA has particularly digital, and we’re here for it! 

The ‘Glam Cam’ was definitely the icing on the cake, but more than that, there was the ‘Door to the LSA’ and the use of 3D Mapping. The ‘Door to the LSA’ brought the LSAs live to shoppers at Dolmen Mall and Multan. Through high-speed internet, fans could interact with fans directly.

Additionally, 3D Mapping allowed for a fun and evolved version of an ‘Instagram Booth’, resulting in some AWESOME shots for our fave celebs’ Instagram posts!

The Lux Style Awards are Pakistan’s most anticipated awards. It’s a night for the industry itself, and it’s a night for audiences to celebrate their favorite celebrities and shows. With the show airing on Saturday, the audience will finally get to have a peek into the glamorous and glitzy world of the LSAs.
