After a roller coaster ride of emotions, the famous drama serial Mere Paas Tum Ho, finally came to an end. Fans were given their fair share of curiosity and anticipation before the mega least episode was on the air. The drama has seen love, cheating, heartbreak, revenge, regret and finally, death.
The last episode starts with Monty, a former neighbor, requesting Danish to meet Mehwish for one last time.
“Mein nahin aaon ga, Monty.”
“Lekin uss wazife ka kya houga? Usska kya kerain gay, Danish bhai? Khuda kee aaitoun kay aagay datt jaein gay?”
While getting ready to see Mehwish, Danish says to Roomi, “Mein bhee iss baat say darr raha hoon, lagta hai wahan jaoon ga tou mujhse wapis nahin aaya jaae ga.”
He also hands over his alleged engagement ring given by Miss Hania, to Roomi.
Mehwish, over the moon, when she hears that Danish is coming, rushes to Monty and says, “Vou aarha hai, Monty. Ifra say boulna ab vou waala wazifa parhde kay vou aaker wapis na jaa sake.”
Shahwar, on the other hand, packs his bag and upon asking where he is going, he responds, “Apnay uss hee ghar jahan say seeriyan phalang ker yahan aagya tha.”
His wife asks for divorce to which he says, “Nahin, divorce doon ga toh lage ge abhee bhi ikhtiyar hai meray paas. Kaash mein ye keh sakoon kay dagha kernay walay mard kay paas divorce dene ka ikhtiyar nahin houna chahye. Tum khula lelou mujhsay, mein divorce denay ka ikhtiyar tumhay deta hoon.”
His wife follows him and asks him to stay but says,“Maaf nahin karoon gee.” Guilt-ridden, Shahwar leaves.
Danish finally musters the courage and goes to visit his ex-wife, Mehwish. She says, “Aj pehli baar milay thay hum. Bhool gye?” To which, Danish answers, “Bhoola nahin, bhula diya hai menay. Tumharay chour kay jaanay kee date yaad rehti hai, vou nahin bhoolti.”
He then further went on to say, “Pata hai Mehwish mujhay kaiyon nay kaha kay mard iss tarhah kay gunnah kerain toh aksar biwiyan unkou maaf kerdeti hain, toh tum bhee ussay maaf kyun nahin kerdetay? Menay kaha maaf kerdiya hai menay per vou bhee toh mujhay maaf keray, jaan chourde meri.”
“Pata hai mein abhee tak decide hee nahin ker paaya kay murder barra crime houta hai ya bewafai. Murder mein toh bas jaan chali jaati hai, per bewafai mein murder houta hai per jaan nahin jaati.”
He then feels an acute chest pain and sits on the floor and says, “Sunou Mehwish, agar mein marr gya toh meri qabar per mat aana. Acha, bohat qareeb mat aana. Bewafaoun say faaslay kerliye hain menay. Tumharay saath wahi karoon ga jou tumnay muhabbat kay saath kiya hai, aesay bichar jaaon ga kay phir kabhi nahin miloon ga tumsay.”
Danish then has a heart attack and is taken to the hospital in emergency where Roomi and Miss Hania arrive too. Danish calls for Roomi who then goes to see his father.
Danish removes his oxygen mask and talks to Roomi about Mehwish, “You know, she is my weakness. Aath saaloun mein kabhi soucha hee nahin kay usskay baghair bhee jeena parray ga. Toh nahin jee saka na.”
Finally, Danish says to his son, “Mein tumharay dil mein jeeya karoon ga. Roomi, we’ll meet in your dreams. Mein rouz aaya karoon ga.” And then the monitor shows a straight line.
Danish leaves behind his son, his ex-wife and Miss Hania, who loved him with everything she had. The drama ends on the note that Danish couldn’t survive the cheating – he loved Mehwish so much that there was no point left in living without her.
