Here's Everything That Allegedly Went Wrong At Solis Festival In Islamabad

By Janita Tahir | 16 Feb, 2020

The Solis Festival is one of the most anticipated events for Pakistanis who want to party. Bringing international artists to Pakistan, Solis promises a night like no other. And the same promise applied to Solis in Islamabad.

However, this time around, Solis in Islamabad allegedly shut down as people fought, the stage broke and the music stopped

Allegedly, the tickets sold for the festival were more than the capacity of the venue. As people continued to flow in, they were stopped by goons who told them not to use the VIP section as it was full. This led to a wave of fury among the crowd as they felt cheated because they weren’t getting what they paid for. Many allegedly forced their way in resulting in total chaos.

Apparently, the event was horribly mismanaged, as per the accounts of those in attendance

Many people have recounted that it all happened when a person allegedly got on stage and announced that the event won’t be happening. The exact reason behind this is unknown.

A lot of criticism has been directed towards the people who attended the festival.

Additionally, while this isn’t confirmed, some people claim that a person lost their life at the event.

Solis’ management has since responded. They took to Facebook to apologize for the inconvenience and explained the reason for canceling the festival.
