By Arslan Athar | 6 Feb, 2019

The usual fashion trajectory over the years has been ‘winter wear, winter wear, some very intense marketing, LAWN SEASON.’ This year seems to be a break in this path as winter wear has ended and now some brands have a pre-lawn collection which features lighter fabrics and of course, brighter colors.

So here’s a look into what’s on offer nowadays.

Bonanza Satrangi by far has the largest collection

It also looks like longer kameezain are here to stay!

Sana Safinaz also launched a ‘Spring Summer 2019’ collection that uses all the right pops of color.

While being luxurious (as always), their collection definitely gave ‘yacht chic’ vibes.

The brand has also been a lot of Instagram stories from Italy, where they seem to be shooting their lawn campaign.

(So there’s something to look forward to, you lawn fans)

Nida Azwer released a collection for ‘Basant’; still hurts that there is no actual basant, but heck, at least you get to look cute.

Needless to say, she’s knocked it out of the park.

They’ve been leaving some sneak peeks into their collection all over their Instagram.

They’re calling their first volume of lawn, ‘Statements’.

Nishat Linen has also been sprinkling references to their ‘Summer’ collection.

Their ‘pre-lawn’ collection features Sajal Aly and some BTS shots have been circulating online.

A lot of Pakistani brands are still busy clearing out their winter stock with some INCREDIBLE winter clearance sales. Some of our leading stores, however, are moving forward and giving us looks for the new season. The coming days and weeks will see a lot of lawn ads, annoying text messages and long lines at check our counters, but heck, this is what Pakistani fashion lives for.
