Last night Nomi Ansari hosted his annual ‘White Iftar’. As usual, it was a star-studded affair, with people from all over the entertainment and fashion world in attendance; it wouldn’t be an understatement to say that this was the biggest social event for Ramazan. On the same night, there was another Iftari happening, hosted by PR-person, Haris Qadeer. Both events had similar guest lists, which meant that some people had to be at both places.

Among the celebrities invited was Hania Aamir, Asim Azhar, Iqra Aziz and Yasir Hussain. 

While it may be a bit extreme to call the whole situation a ‘phadda’, it can be said with some degree of confidence that there are some tension and awkwardness in the whole group.

Hania Aamir and Asim Azhar posed for pictures at both events. 

They were being their cute selves.

The socializing was ON. 

The couple made it into the large group photo at the Nomi Ansari Iftari. 

Iqra Aziz and Yasir Hussain also made an appearance at Nomi Ansari’s.

Iqra hung out with the twins; Minal and Aiman.

Fans of the Yasir-Asad-Asim group were upset to see this picture and made some changes. 

This group was super close to each other, they would spend a lot of time together and would often be seen hanging out together.

And it’s truly sad to see them begin to drift away like this. 

It’s clear that at either event, Yasir, Hania or Asim did not interact with each other. Their larger group, which includes, Asad Siddiqui, Zara Noor, and Iqra Aziz, also did not reach out. Whatever their differences are, they can and should be sorted out. Our industry is pretty small as it is, and there isn’t really room for a phadda like this, especially among the youngins.
