“In “Frozen,” Elsa feared her powers were too much for the world. In “Frozen 2,” she must hope they are enough.” – Disney’s summary for ‘Frozen 2.’
Disney is back with a darker sequel to the animated blockbuster ‘Frozen.’ ‘Frozen 2’s’ riveting trailer just dropped and relays a much darker story for the film’s protagonists Elsa, Anna, Kristoff, and Olaf.
The trailer suggests the much-awaited sequel will be about Elsa’s powers that are “too much for this world.”
With beautifully crisp winter aesthetics, the old pack embarks on a newfound journey to protect Elsa from something sinister – there’s plenty of suspense in the trailer.
We’re given visual treats like spectral horses and brilliantly scaled moments of ravaging waves.
And while the trailer seems eerier in tone, Disney has confirmed that it will be a musical like its predecessor.
Frozen 2 will dive into Elsa’s past and origins of power.
The Disney description is short and sweet for it; “why was Elsa born with magical powers? The answer is calling her and threatening her kingdom.”
The film releases worldwide 22nd November, that too on the crust of Winter.
