Fawad Chaudhry opposed the reckless way lockdown is being ended

Fawad Chaudhry often ends up making headlines because of his audacious opinions and bold statements. He spoken out on some important information in regard to the challenges posed by the current Covid-19 situation and here’s what the minister has said.

Federal Minister of Science and Technology, Fawad Chaudhry has highlighted the important information regarding reckless ending of the lockdown

Firstly, he explained the virus will hit its peak in the middle of June. Secondly, the people of Pakistan should avoid gatherings at all costs. Thirdly, the minister talked about the most common misconception related to this virus, he asserted that coronavirus is NOT a type of flu.

The Minister stated that the smart lockdown policy is the only way to deal with the chaos generated by the virus

He said that this particular issue is complicated and every person has a right to express his/her opinions regarding the solution of the virus. Fawad Chaudhry said that if the lockdown is uplifted without precautionary measures there’s a high chance of the escalation of the infected cases.

People have appreciated him for coming up with a balanced approach and for highlighting the much-needed facts

They agreed to the introduction of the concept of the smart lockdown

They even asked Fawad Chaudhry to make other government officials follow the same approach and not end the lockdown recklessly as is being done right now

A lot of them referred to the statement by the Governor of Sindh which said that the virus is only a type of flu. They also dragged the Chief Justice for suggesting that the shopping malls should be operational.

Fawad Chaudhry has urged people to stay in their homes and has asked them to practice the ‘lockdown’ measures by not coming out of the houses without any emergency. On the contrary, Chief Justice of Pakistan ordered that there’s no solid reason behind keeping the shopping malls closed. He has also asked to open the markets on weekends too. These mixed messages from Government officials at such a time are extremely irresponsible and they should all be advising extreme safety measures to prevent the spread of the deadly virus.

In a situation like this, when the residents of the country are prone to a deadly virus, it is advisable for you all to stay in your homes as this is the only way to ensure your safety during the times of this deadly pandemic. Stay safe.
