She was especially popular on Twitter since she responded to people and helped Indians stuck abroad out through the social media platform.

Other than that, she even heard the pleas of Pakistanis seeking visas to get medical treatment in India. And because of that, some Pakistanis put aside their grievances against India which have surfaced in the last few days because of the Kashmir issue and gave their condolences and paid respect to Sushma Swaraj.

Even Minister for Technology, Fawad Chaudhry paid his respect to the late Indian politician on Twitter, Saying that he would miss their banter on Twitter and that she was a giant in her own right.

Fawad Chaudhry and Sushma Swaraj shared an interesting relationship of banter on social media.

Some people were not happy at Fawad sharing his thoughts on Ms. Swaraj and that’s terribly sad

Considering the tensions between India and Pakistan currently and how Sushma was formerly a part of the BJP party which is behind revoking Article 370 for Kashmir’s special status. And this has meant that tensions between India and Pakistan remain high.

But some Pakistanis were big enough to put aside their differences and pay their respects to Sushma Swaraj. While she had remained a member of the BJP, she did not contest in the last elections due to her failing health.
