So, basically, the Minister of Science and Technology, Mr. Fawad Chaudhry, made a statement about the recent terrorist attacks in Sri Lanka
Fawad Chaudhry tweeted a statement in which he publicly denounced and criticized the heinous terrorist attack that occurred in Sri Lanka, yesterday. He added that Pakistanis stand with the people of Sri Lanka in this hard time of pain. The Minister ended his tweet by mentioning that the timing of the attack coincides with the time when the Sri Lankan team announced their visit to Pakistan for a cricket series.

Oh he just couldn’t help making it all about Pakistan, rather unnecessarily.
For obvious reasons, Pakistanis had to intervene and explain it to the Minister that everything is NOT about Pakistan and the minister should refrain from linking every single thing to Pakistan
They also stated that this kind of statement will be a source of national embarrassment.
Terrorism in Srilanka has Nothing to do with its cricket team visit to Pakistan. Don’t issue such statement which will be laughed at in Srilanka and elsewhere. You can cut jokes on domestic politics and pay for that but not internationally to embarrass Pakistan

People asserted that no such announcement has been made by Sri Lanka and they also advised the Minister to NOT mix cricket with this incident
SL never "announced" that they are sending the team to Pakistan. Although there are talks but nothing confirmed. In fact, on record, SLC president denied any such move. Plz don't mix cricket with this incident.
