Who would’ve thought this one eyebrow trend would become the biggest craze on Instagram, right now. People are going crazy about this trend and everyone who’s anyone is doing it, right now.
Earlier there were crazy trends like glitter lips
And then people were infatuated with putting gold on their face
Then there was this weird fixation with doing up your hair in all sorts of crazy ways
It does make for insta-worthy pictures, tbh.
And now this new trend to make your eyebrows more prominent has started taking Instagram beauty bloggers by storm
The concept is simple – your eyebrows are reshaped into feathers and was birthed by makeup artist Stella Sironen on her Instagram page.
And the results are legit, her eyebrows really do look like feathers
so i'm starting this new brow trend please recreate it and wear it everyday and dont forget to tag me like and subscribe and hit that bell button???? ALL credits go to my muse @leevittu he came up with this whilst brushing my eyebrows last sunday brow: glue stick skin: @maccosmetics Face&Body foundation C1, @maccosmetics pro longwear concealer NW20, a lot of Fix+ for the wet effect highlight: @katvondbeauty Alchemist Palette (Emerald, Opal, Amethyst) eyeshadows: @lipsicosmetics lipstick on the lid and @maccosmetics matte lipsticks in Frosting and Matte Royal mixed for the inner&outer corners mascara: @maccosmetics in extreme dimension lash mascara in Hold For 10
It was initially intended as a joke, but the trend quickly caught on
note to self: when u make a joke about starting a funny brow trend people will take it seriously and…. well. start the trend anyways THANK YOU for all the love and hate on my last pic! i think we should call this #featherbrows so if you actually want to recreate this, pls use the hashtag and tag me in the picture? skin: @maccosmetics strobe cream, face&body foundation c1, pro longwear concealer in NC15, fix+ highlight: @maccosmetics Double Gleam brows: glue stick + @anastasiabeverlyhills dipbrow pomade in Dark Brown eyeshadows: @maccosmetics Texture & Coppering lashes: @ardell_lashes Wispies lips: @lipsicosmetics Leros + clear lip gloss
She even had to follow up to clear all the confusion but was glad this trend spread like wildfire
ok so obviously this has gotten out of hand and it's hilarious and amazing but i wanted to clarify some stuff: 1. i joked about starting a trend in the caption of my first pic not about the actual makeup 2. drag queens have used glue on their brows since forever so please don't credit me for that lol 3. i know that brows are a sacred part of the face but consider this: there is lip art and eye art and tons of different forms of creative makeup, why is experimenting with brows so strange? shoutout to @popsugarbeauty, @huffpostwomen and @dailymail for making the best articles about this, go read them! and i can't thank you guys enough for your support, this feels unreal❤️ peacock feather brow: @cameleonfinland body paints, @katvondbeauty tattoo liner in Trooper, @anastasiabeverlyhills dipbrow pomade in Dark Brown, glue stick skin: @maccosmetics next to nothing Light Plus, pro longwear concealer in NC15 lower lid: @makeupstore Romantic Garden & Emerald eye pencils liner: @toofaced chocolate bar palette (Triple Fudge) lashes: @grimassuomi 325
And now Instagram accounts have followed in quick suit with their own feather eyebrow variations
Who is ready for a new brow trend? • • • This took a bit of @anastasiabeverlyhills clear brow gel with a little help of a technique called "soap brows". These #featherbrows were completely inspired by @stella.s.makeup ??❤️ If you don't understand ART, that's okay this trend isn't for you baby. And if you can't understand that, you probably don't understand this is a joke too?
《 FEATHER BROWS 》 Decided to give the feather brows trend a try. Pretty hard if you don't have that many brow hairs ? I put some glitter and rhinestones on top and actually like how it turned out! Do you? ? I used @makeupgeekcosmetics eyeshadow Cupcake on the lid, and a bit of Unexpected on the lower lashline. The holographic glitter I used is from @glitterglamcosmetics
Feathered eyebrows trend! Do you love it or hate it? Art is art doesn't matter how it look, express yourself!. Here is a trick how to make them with eyebrow wax from @gerardcosmetics #gerardcosmetics and @realtechniques brush for grooming eyebrows. #realtechniques you @stella.s.makeup and @leevittu for being such and inspiration : : : Cejas de pluma! Let's change these brows ?!!! A view days ago I saw a picture of @stella.s.makeup where she did her brows in a way that I have never seen before. She calls it 'featherbrows, and I think this is amazing and very very cool! So I wanted to try it out and made a video on how I create 'featherbrows'. Ofcourse all the credit goes out to the very talented Stella ❤️ Go check the link in my bio to see the video. Let me know what you guys think ? #featherbrows #featherbrow #eyebrows #eyebrowtrend #stellasmakeup
I'm no @stella.s.makeup but I had to give this #featherbrows look a go. Honestly I know she was having a joke but for real this is great. Just a quick few brushes with a clear brow gel to separate and hold and added some gold ✨ my brows are particularly thick, so much so that the hairs just don't like to bend any other way so it didn't work out too well for me. Used @jeffreestarcosmetics Androgyny palette for the eye.
What do you guys think? Is this a look that will catch on or is it rather fleeting?
