The world-famous French luxury footwear and fashion designer, Christian Louboutin, has recently launched a new shoe design called “Lahore Flat”.
The official Louboutin Instagram page recently shared pictures of Christian Louboutin’s new shoe lines and among them was the Lahore Flat.
The caption of the picture states “Follow in the footsteps of Lahore.”
The ‘Lahore Flat’ is available in three different styles and the price ranges from $745 – $795 (Rs 78,000 – Rs 84,000).
The shoe maestro traveled to Pakistan earlier this year – visiting Lahore and Islamabad, where he met with local artisans and witnessing some of their design and art treasures.
Louboutin has stated in an interview that he believes that Pakistan has amazing places that are full of inspiration. He also said that Lahore’s National College of Arts (NCA) was “the best thing in South Asia”.
The shoes are elegant and unique finished off with the classic red sole.
The Louboutin website describes the shoe as “Lahore Flat features a gorgeous silk scarf feature that wraps around the leg and ties abundantly behind the ankle. Inspired by Christian’s visit to a famous scarf designer in Venice, the silk wrap and black patent leather are printed in his Loubitag hand-drawn scribbles, creating a playful juxtaposition.”
