For those of you who may not know, David Luiz is a professional Brazilian footballer who plays for Premier League Club, Chelsea as well as the Brazil national team. He’s pretty much a huge deal when it comes to football. And Imad Wasim, our very own superstar, is a Welsh-born Pakistani cricket player who will be heading to England with the rest of our men in green to play the Cricket World Cup this summer.

In a cute little Insta video, pro footballer David Luiz just wished Imad Wasim good luck for the Cricket World Cup.

SO, being so that the World Cup is just around the corner and the Champion’s League final is also coming up in June, it’s a major moment for football and cricket fans all over town. Luiz’s team will unfortunately not be playing in the actual final.

Anywho, Luiz’s wish to Wasim did not go unnoticed and Twitter users and Luiz/Wasim fans loved the message.

Lol. Even if the video wasn’t super genuine or even if Luiz doesn’t really know anything about cricket, it was a nice gesture and a sweet way of sending some love our way and it was APPRECIATED.

Also, lol, not sure who facilitated this wish exactly but if it’s the guy who tweeted it out, we don’t really know much about him. According to his bio, he’s a philanthropist, father, family man and owner of a Cash and Carry in England. He also has an entire Instagram feed of him with famous athletes and other celebrities.
