Probably one of the worst things that can happen during Ramadan is, yes – you guessed right – a shortage of the best drink ever, Rooh Afza.

There’s a Rooh Afza shortage in our neighboring country, India, and Muslims are having a major Ramazan crisis

India is going through a crisis. For the last four to five months there has been a shortage of Rooh Afza in both, markets as well as online stores. It’s a staple in iftaari so we feel for our Muslim brothers and sisters across the border.

But the good news is that Pakistan has come to the rescue in this serious time of hardship and offered to send it to India

CEO of Pakistani Hamdard, Usama Qureshi, offered to send both Rooh Afza and the carbonated version, Rooh Afza Go, through the Wahga Border, if “permitted by the Indian government” of course.

Rooh Afza India replied to Usama Qureshi and told everyone their favorite drink is in production and is available in stores

And people in India disagree and are calling them out for not being able to find it in shops.

Anywhoo, whether or not India accept Pakistan’s offer, it’s Ramadan and we should all strive to be more caring about our family, friends, and neighbors.

It was a pretty sweet gesture by Pakistan for India, especially in the month of Ramazan, if I say so myself

And others think so too.

But more than this aman ki asha can you even believe there are desis who have never tasted Rooh Afza?!

Send this man some ASAP

And also, a reminder, please pray that we never suffer a shortage of Rooh Afza in Pakistan, especially not in Ramazan. Ameen.
