FIFA in collaboration with the Coca-Cola Company has officially announced its traditional World Cup™ 22’ Trophy Tour and WE CAN’T WAIT!
I mean Football, Music & Coca-Cola all come together, who can resist? (Hint: Not Us!)
As one of the most recognized sports symbols in the world and a priceless icon, the FIFA World Cup Trophy can only be touched and held by a very select group of people that includes former winners of the FIFA World Cup™ and Heads of State. Going by this, you won’t be able to touch it however you can now experience football’s most coveted prize, the 5th FIFA World Cup™ Trophy quite up close and take pictures with it too!
A Coca-Cola jet will arrive with the trophy and FIFA legend/delegation will touch down on the tarmac for the second time in the country’s history on 7th June.
The day will commence with a small trophy arrival ceremony at the airport, featuring invited delegates including Hajra Khan, Captain of the Pakistan women’s national football team and Fahad Ashraf, Vice President, Coca-Cola Pakistan and Afghanistan Region along with selected media personnel and TV channels.
FIFA World Cup winner and legendary footballer Christian Karembeu will be accompanying the trophy, providing fans in Pakistan with an opportunity to see the most recognized symbol in football.
To celebrate the trophy’s arrival, Coca-Cola will arrange a series of events, These events will also celebrate the young unsung football heroes from marginalized ethnicities and communities from all over Pakistan.
The last segment of the celebrations will feature a public youth event to celebrate the spirit of football and music. It will feature special music performances by Coke Studio sensations including Talal Qureshi, Shae Gill, Abdullah Siddiqui, and Hasan Raheem with the trophy being unveiled to the public.
Pakistan is one of the 51 countries that this year’s FIFA World Cup™ Trophy Tour will visit.
This brings a great honor for us to host the FIFA World Cup™ Trophy Tour’s legacy and a step towards promoting the softer image of the country’s hospitality while also displaying the spirit and passion that Pakistanis have for the sport.
So, gear up for the Trophy Tour because even if you can’t make it there, it will still be streamed live on Coca-Cola Pakistan’s Facebook page and YouTube channel for everyone to tune in and enjoy while it happens and catch all the real magic!
