Our veteran actors still got it

There is an abundance of talent in Pakistan, we all know it. While there has been a lot of focus on new and emerging talent in the industry, we mustn’t forget the existing talent that reigned on our screens and to be fair, still are reigning.

Here’s a complete list of all the veteran Pakistani actors that still captivate us on screen. 

1. Marina Khan

Marina Khan is currently acting ‘Bandish’, and while the show is scary as it is, whenever Marina features on screen, you can’t take your eyes off of her.

2. Sania Saeed

Sania Saeed is a forever icon. The actor has mastered the art of creating empathy and conveying intense emotions. How can you not love Sania Saeed and all the roles she’s done oh so well.

3. Samina Ahmed

There are no words to describe this woman and all her talents. She’s been on Pakistan’s screen for years and still hasn’t her quick wit and fabulous acting skills.

4. Saba Hamid 

Saba Hamid’s acting is just phenomenal. Although the actress has not signed on any TV dramas off late, her performances in films have been memorable.

5. Syed Mohammad Ahmed 

Most of Ahmed’s work has been directorial in nature, however, his performance in ‘Cake’ last year was endearing and just plain adorable.

6. Samina Peerzada 

Samina’s latest work in ‘Balaa’ was probably one of her finest performances to date. Like Sania Saeed, it seems like there is no role that she cannot do superbly.

7. Noman Ijaz 

This actor has been around for a while but ain’t no one complaining. From his work on ‘Jackson Heights’ to ‘Sang e Mar Mar’, Noman Ijaz has wow-ed Pakistani audiences.

8. Asma Abbas

Her work in ‘Ranjha Ranjha Kardi’ proves that Asma is a force to be reckoned with. We’re all eagerly waiting for her latest project with her daughter Zara Noor and sister, Bushra Ansari.

9. Durdana Butt 

The actress, in recent times, has signed on more side roles or smaller roles, however, she still shines through them, leaving an impact with whoever is watching.

10. Zeba Bakhtiar

Zeba is known as one of the most striking faces to have ever graced Pakistani television, and she definitely is nowhere near losing that title.

11. Sana Fakher 

Well technically she isn’t ‘old’, but she’s been around in the industry for a while and was found ways to remain relevant, always. Her performance in ‘Alif Allah Aur Insaan’ was truly unforgettable, thus landing her on this list.
