Sanam Saeed is pretty close to perfect. I hate to be biased (which of course, I am) but I absolutely adore her, and who DOESN’T? The moment I saw ‘Zindagi Gulzar Hai,’ my fascination wasn’t compounded to just Sanam’s character Kashaf. I fell for Sanam in all entirety, from her acting to her grace and poise off-screen. She’s been a pretty private, low-key person for the longest time, and there was a slight dip in her on-screen tints, but thank the Lord Sanam’s back to a stellar start in 2018 – what with mini-series ‘Aakhri Station’ and film ‘Cake’ catapulting her back as one of the best we have.
So here are 11 times you (and us both) legit wanted Sanam Saeed’s zindagi…(pun intended)
When she starred opposite Fawad Khan in ‘Zindagi Gulzar Hai’

FOR HER HAIR
So. Freaking. ghunnay.

When her Pakistani film ‘Cake’ was the FIRST Pakistani film to be premiered in London at the prestigious West End in Leicester Square
Cake became the 1st Pakistani film to premiere in London at the prestigious Vue West End, Leischester Square. It received so much love that we wept. Re-instilling our faith in our land, our values, our people, our stories & films, presenting Cake to all #30thMarch pic.twitter.com/U3j8Lu5u0A

…And when it won rave reviews, not only on home turf but in international waters too with ‘The Guardian’ giving it a whopping four stars
“Pakistani cinema has long struggled to match its Indian cousin’s commercial reach, but this impressive debut from Asim Abbasi feels like a sound bet, and even quietly revolutionary in places.”

When she got to topline Sarmad Khoosat’s critically acclaimed mini-series ‘Aakhri Station’
(And honestly deserved an Emmy for it).
That time she spoke about female empowerment in Pakistan and urged change
Sanam Saeed and Aamina Sheikh play feisty siblings in Cake. They say the word "feminism" is misunderstood and men need to know their responsibilities too.

Her free-spirited nature wherever she is
Whenever she dances!

For her besties in the industry, Ali Rehman Khan and Adnan Malik included
