Pakistani artists have long been suffering from a lack of recognition from their larger communities. But all thanks to the internet, artists and creative people who have been sidelined otherwise have found massive success, fans and appreciation. So in celebration of that, South Asian artists recently celebrated each other on Twitter and Pakistani artists were part of that. This “celebration” was initiated by an 18 year old Pakistani artist last year.
