Yasra Rizvi is the ultimate badass we have in our industry. She doesn’t need to advertise it. It’s literally just who she is. We last spoke about her when she got married in the face of all of society and haters, and basically showed every single nosy phuppo in our society a giant middle finger. And as of late, Yasra has been totally winning our hearts over with her one of her talents that we had absolutely no idea about before.

“Kya hum donoun phir se woh pehle wale ho payein ge
Woh mein
Woh tum
Jo hum se pehle hote the
Kya woh waapis aajayein ge?”
“Duniya Wale Kya Kahein Ge” is a poem about a girl who is fighting society to marry the man she loves the most
“Kuch gum sum si pareshan si, kal ek saheli aayi thi
Us ki roshan aankhoun mein behki hui tanhai thi
Chand safaid baaloun ko rang nahi woh paayi thi
Meine us ka haal jo poocha, ander woh toot pari thi aur baahir se muskayi thi

Itni achi, itni pyaari, kisi ko na woh bhai thi?
Pasand woh jis ko aayi thi
Bhalla sa ek larka tha

“Kaam Kam Aur Baatein Zyaada” gave us an insight into social commentators who only talk about the vices of society but never really do anything to fix them

“Zindagi” speaks about the intricacies of life
“Khudkushi haraam hai
Lekin ye zindagi, yeh zindagi bhi koi kaam hai

Dunya bhar ke bazaaroun mein
Kahin mere liye saughat nahi
Yeh din jo peeche choot gaya hai
Bhaag raha tha
Daur raha tha

Sach ka bazu mor raha tha
Dekho kitni garmi hai
Un cheekhoun ki hararat se
