We all would be lying to ourselves if we said that our family was ‘normal’ in any sense of the word. Khandaans by nature are a little dysfunctional, but its always seemed like our desi families have been a bit too coo coo. Ask anyone you know, someone will have a super religious phupa, a snobbish khala or a cousin with a gori wife whom no one talks to anymore.
