Ahad Raza Mir made his anticipated debut with Momina Mustehsan and sang the catchy rendition of the famous ‘Ko Ko Korina.’ Originally the song was sung by Ahmed Rushdi – the man who changed the face of playback singing in Pakistan 35 years ago.
Ahad and Momina both look pretty comfortable and are enjoying themselves while swaying to the beguiling and catchy melody.
The listeners, however, didn’t quite sit well with the rendition. Since after the release of the song, two very apparent groups have come forth; the first angry ones who think Coke Studio messed up pretty badly. And the second who are just turning to listen to the original version to give solace to their ears. Anyone having a different opinion than these two is just deemed to be in denial because they’re die-heart fans of Ahad and Momina.
The internet is pretty clear on what it thinks of the Ahad-Momina version of Ko Ko Korina.
