This Contestant Dragged Judge Kubra Khan For Critiquing His Singing When She Can't Sing Herself And It Got Awkward Real Fast

A video of a singing contestant debating with actress Kubra Khan has gone viral.

‘Bol Entertainment’ recently launched a reality show, ‘Pakistan Star’ with hosts Kubra Khan, Javed Sheikh and Hamza Ali Abbasi. The show is heavily inspired by international shows like ‘America’s Got Talent’ and ‘India’s Got Talent,’ and seeks talent across the country.

The show has stirred controversy since its dawn a few weeks ago, with a minor performing to an item song and Hamza Ali Abbasi scolding her more recently.

He let the contestant through after she vowed never to perform to an item song.

In another episode of the talent show, a clip of a boy singing ‘Chaiyya Chaiyya’ and Kubra’s feedback on it has gone viral.

After the contestant performed, Kubra critiqued the boy and said that she thought he could sing but that if he had sung more clearly then she would have liked it more.

The contestant questioned Kubra’s feedback and asked whether or not she could sing better, to which she replied that she could.

Hamza intervened and said that it’s okay to get feedback, even if it’s negative, to which the contestant asked how a judge who can’t sing herself can give valuable feedback about a singer.
