Shireen Mazari Ko Ko Korina -ed her way into an epic feud
By now, it’s no secret that the new Coke Studio cover of ‘Ko Ko Korina,’ by Ahad Raza Mir and Momina Mustehsan was absolutely terrible.
And that’s not just us speaking, that’s pretty much any and every one who heard the song.
Pakistanis completely shat on the cover of the song and recently, one notable Pakistani in particular also let her opinion be known.
Shireen Mazari tweeted about the cover, saying that Coke Studio absolutely ‘destroyed’ the classic song.

And now, following her response, people are reaching out to the Federal Minister, asking her to ban the song, lol, in the name of human rights.

Not sure if real legal action can be taken here but it seems as though Pakistanis will not rest until some kind of apology or retraction of the song is made. However, creative license is a very real thing in Pakistan and technically, Coke Studio can do all the covers they want without any real legal ramifications.
The fact that the entire nation is pretty much hating on the platform? Well yeah, that’s something they might want to deal with ASAP.
