Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy just won the Oscar for A Girl in the River

That makes it two for Sharmeen and two for Pakistan.



And the praise from all over Pakistan has already started pouring in.


It definitely is an interesting day for Pakistan


But why is Canada claiming Sharmeen as being one of their own? Da fuq?


She is Pakistani. Get your shit straight bruh…

In Pakistan, unfortuantely more than a 1000 women are killed in the name of ‘honor’ in every year. A Girl in the River follows the story of a rare survivor who falls in love and lives to tell the tale.
