Aamir Liaquat and second wife Syeda Tuba appeared on the ‘Subah Saverey Samaa Kay Saath’ with Sanam Baloch, a few days ago where they opened up about their marriage and addressed their previous interview and certain trolling pertaining to them. While the interview went well, with most of the show filled with banter and intimate revelations about the couple’s life together, Sanam made some remarks that have broken the internet…
And NOT in a positive light.
Tuba was questioned about her famous nickname for Aamir – ‘Panther’ – to which she further elaborated, calling herself an ‘animal lover’ among other things about the couple
She said that he’s so quick, and has such speed as she referred to his 33-hour transmission during Ramazan without a break; she was shocked he could do that. We also finally found out what Aamir calls Tuba out of love…jaami. Tuba admitted to also calling him jaami out of love apart from ‘panther.’
While everything went fine, towards the end of the interview, Sanam asked Aamir “saab a serious question” that has received tremendous backlash
She praised him for being a lauded Pakistani scholar and that you did everything the right way according to the “deen.” She asked why his first wife Bushra bhaabi hadn’t accepted his second wife. She continued to compliment him and belittled his first wife. Aamir responded by saying that she hadn’t studied Islam properly – he said that studying it as a degree is different.
The comments Sanam made have received tremendous backlash all over social media for being insensitive and judgemental
