The study went on to explain that men with sisters are better at communicating and that even once the parents’ pass away, girls are the one who keeps the family together.

So basically, sisters rule.

We can’t help but realize that there are a number of things that make us feel very lucky to have sisters in our lives. So, without further ado, here are just a few reasons to be thankful to have a sister:

1. You can always look up to her for advice.

Whether it’s boy trouble, issues at work or school, she always knows just what to say, no judgment included.

2. You get to borrow clothes from her. Constantly.

Well, okay maybe not with so much with her knowing…

3. She knows exactly what you mean without you having to say it.

There is an unspoken language that will make no sense to anyone but you guys.

4. Fighting is a usual thing, but so is immediately making up.

There is no fight that is too big.

5. She’s always in your corner when you need her to be.

Especially when it concerns your parents.

6. You always have someone to make plans with.

And you’ll never get in trouble because you’re with apa.

7. She is your confidant.

No secret is too big for her ears, she’ll listen to everything you have to say.

8. Your Protector.

No one can mess with you when your sister is around, no CHANCE.

9. Your best friend.

And though she can be your enemy too, there’s no denying it, she’s your best friend.

10. Not having her around is the WEIRDEST thing ever.

When she gets married or when she moves out of the house, things change SO quickly. You’ll miss her more than you know when she’s gone.

11. Her friends are your friends and your friends are hers.

Everyone will always want to hang out with her since she’s the cool older sister.

12. She’ll always have your back, no matter what.

It doesn’t matter if she agrees with you or not, she will always be on your side.

13. It’s a relationship so special, you’ll never be able to live without it.

Never ever never.
