Yesterday we saw the first glimpses of the Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas’ wedding and they both looked really happy and cute.
It seemed like a small, intimate affair, very traditional, yet very ‘them’.
Well, the pictures from the sangeet are quite the opposite.
It’s grand, it’s loud and it’s oh so Bollywood!
Is this an Indian Dance Competition of a shaadi?
There a couple of struggling dancers on the back, and well, we’ve all been there. It’s okay dude, you’re trying!
While Nick and his family did their best, Priyanka and her mother also took on the dance floor
However, the most EXTRA AF thing I saw in the short sangeet video was this weird Bollywood and Titanic crossover, with Parineeti in the center
As intense Jonas-Chopra dance off was happening on stage, the bride was fulfilling cheerleading duties
Eventually, joining the dance floor herself.
(Also, I’m still not over how extra this is. A part of me is screaming ‘HOW’ and a part of me is low key living for this)
Also, there were some random white dudes carrying Priyanka around.
We have no other details about this, so your guess is as good as ours
Of course, there were some cutesy pictures of the happy couple
Side Note: Can we talk about how dapper these boys looked in desi clothing
The picture reel ends with a massive parivaar ki tasveer
(Shout out to that equally massive trophy)
It definitely did seem like QUITE the party. There was loads of dancing, props and photos! Now what remains to be seen is if the couple goes a step further in the extra-meter for the rest of the wedding.
