The good folks of Twitter think they’ve found Altaf Hussain at a World Cup match supporting India.

So if you haven’t heard the name Altaf Hussain, let me briefly introduce him to you. He is a politician who is also the founder of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) party. He’s the “Bhai” of Karachi, perhaps not for the same reasons why Salman Khan is the Bhai of India (though same reasons ho bhi sakte hain). He was once known to hold the majority of votes in Karachi and basically controlled Karachi from his home in London.

In recent years, things have not been looking too good for him. He was exiled from Pakistan due to his hate speeches against the government and the military. After one specific speech, he got his supporters so riled up, they resorted to violence all around the city. He was caught by Scotland Yard in his London home early Tuesday morning of last week due to the hate speech case against him and was released on bail the following day.

With his case being so high-profile, many people are bound to recognize him one place or another. Well, I said that too soon because this Twitter user has spotted an Altaf bhai doppelganger at the ongoing World Cup in England.

Another Twitter user was quick to confirm the possibility and question it.

He is said to be hiding in plain sight with face paint repping India in the World Cup.

I mean it is definitely possible he is sneaking into matches with a disguise.

After all, he was just released on parole and this isn’t too far from his past crazy get-ups.
