Ah, there really isn’t anything like spectacular shaadis dappled in colorful trailing lehengas, with rose petals that softly speckle the festivities, melodies resonating through the thrilling air and the coming together of two beautiful souls. Designer Nomi Ansari just released a beautiful little fashion film starring Sana Javed and Ali Rehman Khan, and it’s absolutely breathtaking.
Fashion film ‘Qabool Hai’ tells the tale of Sana and Ali’s incredibly vibrant wedding
It’s a grand, grand affair – with a good kind of noise as we are taken on a journey of events leading to the moment both will declare ‘qabool hai’
Both Ali Rehman Khan and Sana Javed look wonderful, wearing the most elaborate of designs by Nomi Ansari
Both try and savor a few precious moments together in between the hustle and bustle of such a grand shaadi
There are delightful stolen glances between both and a few hushed rendezvous
The film is speckled with a variety of Coke Studio’s songs, such as ‘Afreen Afreen’ and ‘Baliye (Laung Gawacha)’
And has a momentous build up, with the final scene dazzling both protagonists
Who at long last say, ‘qabool hai’ in front of an applauding crowd
