Kulsoom Nawaz, wife of Nawaz Sharif passed away in London, England yesterday due to a long time battle with Lymphoma.
Hours after the news broke, Nawaz and Maryam were both let out on a 12-hour parole to attend the funeral prayers.
To deny people their human rights is to challenge their very humanity.

And since then, Pakistanis have been having a field day with the decision, many disapproving of the government’s decision.

Some even suggested that the death was held upon until yesterday.
Sources from Clinic in London confirmed that #NawazSharif was informed multiple times during last 40 days, by the Doctors of #KulsoomNawaz that she is only breathing on machines but actually is brain dead, but her spouse insisted of keeping her alive just to use sympathy card.

Of course, many were in favor of the decision and defended the Sharifs from harsh criticism.
The Govt did the right thing by granting parole to Maryam Nawaz & #NawazSharif for #KalsoomNawaz's funeral. I just hope that the Media stays away from this as much as possible & #PMLN doesn't use this parole for political sympathy or start giving anti-Govt statements.

Given everything Nawaz and his daughter have been charged for, putting them in jail was a win against corruption in Pakistan and a step in the right and just direction for this country.
However, disgracing the memory of Kulsoom by pointing fingers at the Sharifs at this time of grieving is not something that we as citizens part of ‘Naya Pakistan’ should be doing. The Sharifs are in prison, they are serving their time and living through the consequences of their actions.
A death is a death and in our culture and religion, this time is to be respected by all people. Using their parole as an excuse to put down the family and more so using the death of Kulsoom to create conspiracy theories, jokes and personal attacks on the Sharifs is absolutely disgusting, unnecessary and unacceptable.
If we truly are Naya Pakistan, surely we should know better.
