The highly anticipated short film ‘Nanu Aur Main’ dropped an incredibly moving trailer, giving us a poignant glimpse into an endearing relationship between a grandfather and granddaughter.
Starring veteran Qavi Khan as ‘Nanu’ and Saboor Aly as his loving grandchild, the trailer shows the closeness the two hold, and how incredibly fond they each are of one another
When Saboor’s character reluctantly must leave home to pursue her education, they vow to stay in touch through letters
Qavi’s character cannot use a mobile phone.
…And it is this premise that the story is built upon, with a transition of their time together and apart
It’s when Saboor’s character, who Qavi’s character refers to as chirya notices a change in the way her grandfather writes, deciding to go back home
How their story unravels in this coming of age film is one to look out for.
