So, Nadia Hussain is one of the celebrities who doesn’t refrain from speaking her mind. We’ve seen previously how she responds to trolls and how she stands by her stance whatever the circumstances may be.
Like the time when a hater insulted her kids, and she hit back.
Let’s just say, Nadia Hussain doesn’t hold back. Well, quite recently, she went after (late) Salman Taseer’s wife Aamna Taseer who posted about her not being on board with capital punishment.
It all started with this tweet. A Twitter user called out Shireen Mazari for supporting capital punishment.
Kind of terrifying when your Human Rights Minister supports capital punishment in a country where hundreds of people are falsely accused, wrongfully convicted and so on. https://t.co/Qh5DLUvX6p

Aamna Taseer added to the tweet, saying that she is not for capital punishment despite the fact that her husband faced the consequences of terrorism.
I lost my husband Shaheed @SalmaanTaseer to terrorism , but I don’t believe in capital punishment! https://t.co/hiKhz29owo

In her reply to the statement put forth, Nadia Hussain, through her Twitter account, said that Amna should’ve stopped the hanging of her husband’s murderer if she really didn’t believe in capital punishment.
Then u should've stopped the hanging of your husband's murderer!!
— NADIA HUSSAIN (@NADIAHUSSAIN_NH) October 11, 2018
That’s…that’s a lot to state, process and react to. Well, as soon as she posted this reply, it’s caused quite a bit of a shitstorm. People started reacting to Nadia’s remark.
It was highlighted that this was certainly a low blow.
Am so surprised to see such a vicious personal attack from you Nadia. A very low blow directed towards a woman who’s husband was murdered in cold blood.

To which, Nadia replied that it’s just a mere difference of opinion.
She also stated that she is, in fact, in favor of capital punishment.
Sweety it's only because she herself had said she is not in favor of capital punishment!!!! If she's not in favor then like I said, she should've stopped the hanging off her husband's murderer!! I'm surely in favor of capital punishment!! Hence the difference of opinion!!

Subsequently, Shehryar Taseer jumped in, highlighting that his mother wasn’t the one responsible for Qadri’s conviction.
My mother didn’t hang Qadri, the procession in the law did… the case was State V Qadri. Check ur insinuations! The courts convicted him, the courts sentenced him, and under the courts instruction he was hanged.
— Shehryar Taseer (@shehryar_taseer) October 12, 2018
Damn auto correct *the provision in the law
— Shehryar Taseer (@shehryar_taseer) October 12, 2018
Other people responded too. We believe this person is asking Nadia to show some empathy, albeit in a very harsh way.
Apne upar rakh k dekhain Nadia, Apko jawab mil jai ga 🙂
— Hamza Khan (@iamhamzaaaaa) October 12, 2018
At least, we hope so.
However, some people ended up thinking Nadia was on Qadri’s side.
Have you got sympathy with QADRI
— shan (@shanzii007) October 12, 2018
Some people even stepped in to be the voice of reason, explaining how the two cases were completely unrelated.
Ahhh pardoning someone and not believing in capital punishment are different things. I’m sure she didn’t want to pardon her husbands killer because of how obviously guilty he was. His punishment at that time happened to be capital punishment. What a non issue.

Khair, with all due respect to Nadia’s stance, this is a pretty insensitive way to make your point. What do you think? Share your thoughts with us in the comments.
